DROPping for Pellets :)

Hey guys! Sorry for the long hiatus from this blog. (HAHA Feeling blogger lang talaga noh?:)

Hemingway, I am going to give you a feedback regarding my last post about HCG.

Sadly, my 2 fl oz bottle which is supposed to last for 20-21 days lasted for only 7 days. Instead of taking 10 drops 3x a day, I took 20drops 3x a day. Doing the math, I took 60drops daily. I found out (after I almost finished the bottle) that I am supposed to take maximum of 30 drops/day ONLY. I got frustrated BUT I did not lose hope. I decided to just stop taking it, go back to my normal food intake and just order another set.

Anyway, in that short span of time, people notice a slight changes in my body. My arms lost an inch! My tummy, from 38 inches, it was now 34 inches.

That's me (hahah kadiri my tummy!!) It was taken during my first and last drop. Not bad for 1 week right??!! :)

Anyway.. My sister did some research about HCG. She found out that the HCG Pellets are better than the drops (but we have to try it first before we conclude, right?) Okay, so we decided to just get Pellets on our next order. Instead of ordering it from the seller in the Philippines, we ordered it directly from the supplier in US. Due to the strict policies of Saudi Arabia Customs, I have to make sure that my order will arrive safely and will not be confiscated.

June 20, I received an email saying that my orders were already shipped. One for me and another one for my sister who is now back in the Philippines. It was expected to arrived here in Jeddah for 2-4 weeks, plus few days for the clearance from customs.

But earlier, my mom called me and informed me that my package is already here. Oh boy, I am so happy I almost jump! (OA haha)

It is so small, and tasted like pale-candy. Not too sweet.

I think I like this better because it is more accurate than the drops. I also like the fact that I can see how it dissolves under my tongue. I am supposed to take 3 pellets 3x a day, so 9 pellets daily.

I forgot to check my weight earlier at home. And we only have kg in here. Today, I weighed 70.70kg, so that is about 155.867lbs. I will start my loading phase d1 now. I drank 2 cups of hot choco earlier and ate omelet. It is 12:30noon now and I just took my 2nd round of pellets. I will be having a lunch date with my mother in a few minutes and later tonight, I'm gonna attend a friend's birthday party. KAIN GALORE!!!

Everything falls exactly on where it should be. And just like before, I am very excited and positive about this :)

Wish me luck!

Let the magic begin!

After searching about HCG and reading lots of positive feedback about it, I decided to try it. I contacted the seller from IG and asked some questions regarding the product. Good thing we have a family friend who is coming here so I don't need to have it shipped here in Jeddah.

The package includes 1 bottle, HCG Diet Program and Diet Recipe Book.

What is HCG?

HCG, Human Chorionic Gonadotopin, is a hormone produced in women during pregnancy. As soon as the new embryo starts to develop, the mother's body begins releasing large amounts of HCG into the bloodstream. Current scientific philosophy believes that HCG helps maintain the pregnancy and the early growth of the fetus. By moving nutrients from the mother's stored fat supply into the bloodstream, HCG helps ensure that the developing fetus always has an adequate food supply, even when the mother is eating too little.

In the 1950's, Dr. A.T.W. Simeons discovered that HCG can safely be used as a weight-loss aid in people who are not pregnant. It works for both women and men. He found that HCG moves about 2000 to 3000 calories per day of stored fat into the bloodstream where it becomes available for metabolism. With these additional nutrients in the bloodstream, a person can successfully stay on a very low-calorie diet or VLCD without experiencing extreme fatigue, weakness, or hunger.

When the HCG diet program is properly followed, the result is rapid weight loss and improved body shape as the body rids itself of excess stored fat. People often lose in a stair-step fashion, that is, they will lose for a few days then stay for a day or two, then start losing again, and so on.

I am ready!

I used to have a fit body. Not too skinny nor too chubby. I am blessed with long legs so it kinda balance my figure to my height.

Back when I was still in high school, I can eat 2 or 3 cups of rice without making me look like I've eaten a watermelon. I can easily lose weight overnight, whenever I want to.

Anyway, it was 2007 when I started gaining weight. I don't know what really caused my metabolism to messed up. Somehow I think it has something to do with my hormonal imbalance that's why I have a pretty weird irregular periods. I really have no idea. When I first came here in Jeddah, if my memory serves right, my waistline is only 27-28. And my tops were sized S-M. Couple of months later and then booom! I can no longer wear my clothes without looking like a suman.

A year after, I decided to go home in the Philippines and continue college. I thought I can just easily go back to my figure just like when I was in highschool. I WAS SO WRONG! It got worse! Blame it  to my boyfriend who loves eating. Hehe (I am kidding, I love you J!)

Butterfly

Point of Retreat : Colleen Hoover.

"Your mother encourages you to cuss?" Gavin says.

Kiersten nods. "I don't see it that way. It's more like she's encouraging us to determine a system flawed through overuse of words that are made out to harmful, when in fact they're just letters, mixed together like every other word. That's all they are, mixed up letters.
Like, take the word 'butterfly' for example. What is someone decided one day that butterfly is a cussword? People would eventually start using the word butterfly as an insult, and to emphasize things in a negative way. The actual word doesn't mean anything. It's the negative association people give these words that make them cusswords. So, if we all decided to keep saying butterfly all the time, eventually people would stop caring. The shock value would subside...and it would become just another word again. Same with every other so-called bad word."

A Love for Korean Cuisine

I will always have an affair with Korean Cuisine. Call me lame, but the first time I've tried a REAL Korean dish was way back January 2010. It is not in Korea though, but hey, the restaurant is a legit one.

The restaurant is called Goltong Ne Bbq & Grill in Subic, Olongapo City. It was just an after-sunday-service usual bonding with my siblings. After our Tree Top Adventure we decided to stroll along the Subic Boardwalk (I am not sure if they still call it Boardwalk.Hehe) Tired of eating the usual, we got curious and decided to try the Korean Resto beside Pier One.

It became my favorite. Every chance we get, Jaypee and I will always dine here after grocery shopping in Royal. If he is not available because of work, I'll bug my friends to help me satisfy my cravings.

Kellan Kyle's POV - The Club and the Rain scene

Disclaimer: I just copied this post from http://www.fictionpress.com/s/3089151/6/Reckless :) Thank you Cupid's Psyche. I just wish you write more

This takes place at the club, right after Kellan pushes Kiera away from him.

-The Club/Rain-

I pushed Kiera away from me and twisted to blend into the bumping and gyrating crowd. My lips burned with the loss of her, my body ached, but over her shoulder I'd noticed Denny returning, and he couldn't see this. He couldn't catch us. I wouldn't let that happen. He deserved better than walking in on us.

I found a nearby spot in the jam-packed crowd where I could watch Kiera without her seeing me. Her cheeks were flushed, her breath fast, her eyes blazing with desire. For me. But was desire enough for her to leave him? For her to choose me? Hands brushed over my back, girls giggled in my ear, asking me to dance, but I ignored them as I watched the confusion blossom over Kiera's face. She honestly had no idea why I'd shoved her away from me.

She figured it out two seconds later when Denny approached her from behind. She spun to face him and I held my breath. This was it, the moment of truth. She was either going to fess up to him right now and tell him she had feelings for me, or she was going to brush aside what had happened between us. Again. And I would know, without a doubt, that I really didn't mean as much to her as she meant to me.

I was almost too scared to watch what she would do, but I couldn't turn away either. Please tell him you want me. Please come find me. Please choose me, Kiera. Please. Mere seconds passed before she acted, but within those seconds, a lifetime of hope blossomed within me.

A Candid Sit Down With Kellan and Kiera

Disclaimer: This is a copied post from thesubclubbooks. Intended for sharing to my friends :)

There is no introduction necessary for our guests but we would like to welcome back to our humble home Kellan Kyle. And we would like to give lovely Kiera a BIG welcome to TheSubClub.

Thank you both for allowing us this honor. And thank you Kiera for granting us this interview, we know how very private you are about your life.

 *Clears Throat*

Kellan and Kiera both of you have many insecurities and being apart from each other can’t be easy. Seeing as how the two of you got together, does it scare you both that either will be tempted to cheat? How do you deal with those emotions and how do you manage a relationship without constantly worrying about the possibilities of betrayal happening?

I know most people sees  Devin Peisley as Kellan Kyle. But no, for me Chace Crawford is perfect for the role.

Planning to get a planner?

It is already January and you still doesn't have planner? Are you still undecided whether you'll drown yourself over coffee just to get their limited edition planner specifically THE Starbucks planner or just get a classic one on either National Bookstore nor Fullybooked? Well, sorry to burst your bubble but the sticker collection started last November 3, 2012 and will end today January 8, 2012. So if you are planning to get those precious planner and still don't have atleast one sticker, then you have four options:
1. Buy a gift certificate worth p5,000 and voila, in just a minute you'll have it.
2. Treat your family, friends, officemates or your whole barangay to Starbucks and make them order 9 Christmas beverages and 8 core beverages. Last year, I have to ask help from my h2b (husband-to-be) to collect stickers because i am loyal with java chip and call me crazy but i am not really fond of their Christmas beverages.
3. Wait for a friend who loves Starbucks and could care less about the planner and ask for his. You are lucky if they give it to you for free. I have a friend who usually collects them and sell them afterwards. Hahaha :)
Or your last option, Buy BELLE DE JOUR Planner. Well, it will make sense if you're a girl like me. If not, then close this tab. This post is definitely not for you :) Hehehe.

What is so special about BDJ?

Belle de Jour Power Planner is especially made for the Pinay fashionista achiever. The term Belle de Jour (bel duh zhoor’) is French fashion lingo for “It” girl, we have redefined it to mean the modern day renaissance woman who dares to achieve her goals, lives her dream life, makes a difference in her community, while doing everything in great style.

The power planner includes time-management principles to help BDJ Girls manage their life better, articles and affirmations to inspire them to live life to the fullest and of course, coupons to remind them of work-life balance.

Is it worthit?

Letting go is one of the hardest lessons in life. There are many things that we have to learn to let go. We have to let go of situations, things, memories, people and even ourselves. It is not easy to let go of something that you have for a long period of time. How would you feel if you lost your security blanket? Or your most favorite shoes that you treasured it so much you don't want to use it. Some things can be replaced, and it will take time for us to cope up with that change. But, what if it is a friend?
They say, "A friendship that can end never really began." In my opinion, we must not give up to the people who are worthy to fight for. Specially for those who we treated more like a family than a friend. How do you say that a friendship is over? If your friend hurt your feelings, would you rather give them up than to forgive?
